Overview
My recreation in JavaScript of the classic 1980s arcade game, Jr. Pac-Man.
The image above is not a photo. It's an in-game screen shot, quarters and all.
Jr. Pac-Man features scrolling mazes and bouncing bonus items.
My implementation lets you play it in basic 2D (good on mobile) or in a full 3D immersive virtual arcade experience, all in the browser.
Why I Decided to Make This
I've been a huge fan of Pac-Man and all its spin offs (well, not ALL of them. Some are insanely bad and I'm not recreating those, like Pac-Land and a few others). Jr. Pac-Man was always one I've liked, though it seems to have always been somewhat rare. I'd rarely see it it, but when I did, I'm drop a quarter in it and usually get the high score. I don't know of that's a testament to my skill or a realization of the fact that few people played it? LOL! In either case, it's a fun game and now my version of it runs in your browser. It should be indistinguishable from what you remember of the arcade version.
